In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, we realize the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at Walden Place Senior Living, we understand to achieve this culture, employees must trust their workplace.
Each August, Walden Place participates in the Great Place to Work Survey. This is a time when staff can be open and honest about their feedback. A third party collects the data, ensuring it remains truly anonymous. It is so important for us to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly to know what we can work on to truly make our community a great place to work.
As the Business Office Director, I am committed to consistently promoting employee appreciation. We always take time to acknowledge our hardworking team members. I’m grateful for how our employees have been so willing to step in and help when needed. To me, Walden Place is a great place to work because our staff members are always ready to pitch in with extra hours. With the recent transition to Arrow, there have been many changes, and it’s a huge relief to have the support of our team. It truly shows that together, we make a great team—helping each other out like a big family.
We believe when done right, making work a fun place creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
